When playing in any Student Poker Player - University "Poker" Challenge your are constantly earning points towards your tally on both your University Leaderboard and our National Leaderboard in order to qualify for the Grand final in June 2009. The points system as been designed to reward good performance as well as making every result count. Below you will find information on of how the points are distributed in each event. 1st | 100 Points | 2nd | 90 Points | 3rd | 80 Points | 4th | 70 Points | 5th | 60 Points | 6th | 50 Points | 7th | 40 Points | 8th | 30 Points | 9th | 20 Points | 10th | 10 Points | 11th | 9 Points | 12th | 8 points | 13th | 7 Points | 14th | 6 Points | 15th | 5 Points |
The Top 15 players of each weekly competition receive points as shown above. the points also go towards each specific University LeaderBoard. The Top 5 points leaders from each University after the week 27 competition on June 21st 2009 will go forward to the Grand Final on June 28th 2009 with the winner of the Grand Final recieving a prize of £5000.00 towards their University Fees and FREE entry into a Major European Poker Competition. There will also be a prize for the Top Points leader of each University which will be confirmed at a later date.
