The Student Poker Player – University "Poker" Challenge is a chance to prove your poker skills, in a STUDENT ONLY, weekly Texas Hold'em Tournament. Each tournament will be held online and entry will be FREE to all Current, Full Time/Part Time UK, Irish & European University Students. All entrants to the weekly FREEROLL tournaments must be registered members of the Student Poker Player website and verify their student status by signing up with a valid University assigned email address. This is your chance to represent your University and compete against other Universities from all over Europe for the titles of Student Poker Player - University Poker Challenge Champions and the individual who wins the Grand Final will be the Student Poker Player - University Poker Challenge Champion. The Competition will run over a 27 week period. Entry is FREE to each of the weekly tournaments and as well as the winner recieving a $100 prize the Top 15 players of each weekly competition receive points as shown on our Points Page. The points also go towards each specific University LeaderBoard. The Top 5 points leaders from each University after the week 27 competition on June 21st 2009 will go forward to the Grand Final on June 28th 2009 with the winner of the Grand Final recieving a prize of £15,000.00 towards their University Fees and FREE entry into a Major European Poker Competition. There will also be a prize for the Top Points leader of each University at the end of the competition which will be confirmed at a later date.
